On Tuesday, we reported that Samsung is rolling out a software update to the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Well, as it turns out, the South Korean tech giant has released a software update to its sibling as well, the Galaxy Buds 2.
According to the change log, the software update improves the stability of the earbuds. Sadly, the company hasn’t provided further details. It carries firmware version R150XXU0AYA1 and is 6.10MB in size.
To get the latest software update on your Galaxy Buds 2, open the Galaxy Wearables app on your smartphone. Then go to Earbuds Settings and tap on Earbuds Software Update. Samsung could be rolling out the update in phases. It means that some may get it now and some may get it later.
The Galaxy Buds 2 and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro didn’t suffer from any major issue. However, if there are any minor problems, this update should solve them. Installing it will ensure that they are running at their optimum. Make sure to charge the earbuds fully before you install the update.
With the Galaxy Buds 2 now almost three and a half years old, if you are planning to upgrade to new ones, you should take a look at the Galaxy Buds 3 or the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. There's also a great deal going on the latter, allowing you to get them for just $99. You can check it out here.
